Organized by Asia Gaming Brief, the ASEAN Gaming Summit 2024 concluded yesterday in Manila, Philippines, after a three-day event that welcomed nearly 1,600 attendees, setting a new record.
This year’s edition drew a diverse audience from a multitude of regions including Macau, Armenia, Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Cambodia, India, Germany, the UK, Indonesia, Russia, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Singapore, among others.
The exhibition segment attracted dozens of exhibitors from around the world, showcasing the latest technology and advancements in the gaming industry. Notable exhibitors such as Pronet Gaming, BetConstruct, DST Gaming, and Fast Track provided strong sponsorship of the summit. The prominent presence of Philippine companies showcases the remarkable growth of the gaming industry within the country.
Furthermore, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) returned again to heavily support this year’s edition, with the group’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Alejandro H. Tengco, delivering the opening address at the ASEAN Gaming Summit.
A key highlight was the keynote speech by Thomas Arasi, President and COO of Bloomberry Resorts Corp., who shared success stories of Solaire in the Philippines.
Following an array of insights from experts across the gaming sphere, the highly anticipated Asia Gaming Awards returned to celebrate the excellence in the gaming space, exemplifying the contributions by operators, suppliers, providers, affiliates, land-based and online operators, among others. The ceremony awarded top honors for Best Operator and Best Integrated Resort, along with recognizing three outstanding industry leaders for their achievements.
Luis Pereira, Managing Director of Asia Gaming Brief, spotlighted the achievements of the 6th edition stating, “This year’s event again served as a convergence of the great minds and companies that continue to shape and diversify this industry.
