Day Three of SBWA+ 2023 dawned in the vibrant city of Lagos. The day commenced with a surge of energy as attendees gathered for registration and coffee, ready to dive into the final day of enlightening insights and networking opportunities.

The stage was set with opening remarks by Oyeneye Seun, COO of Starbet, underscoring the significance of the day’s discussions.

Kicking off the series of thought-provoking presentations was Olalekan Yusuf Kolade, who delved into the rise of mobile gaming in West Africa, providing insights into the opportunities and challenges of the market. Following this, Ahmed Olawale Jokotoye, took the stage with a captivating discourse on the prospects of retail gaming in the region, prompting a lively exchange of questions from an engaged audience. The spotlight shifted to a fascinating presentation by Francis Ifie, who delved into the intricate realm of mitigating CPA’s detrimental effects on the marketing funnel.

After engagement flourished in a networking lunch break, industry experts Adefisoye Stephen, Alexander Ezekial, Momo Alhassan and James Torvaney then shared their insights on attracting foreign investment. This dynamic exchange of perspectives not only illuminated the strategies for enticing international iGaming investment but also emphasised the potential of the West African market.

After a successful networking lunch break, moderator Oyindamola Michaels, and panellists Ahmed Olawale Jokotoye, Johnson Adewale FOYE, and Lanre Wali, explored the nuances of customer retention strategies.
